For a while I used a refractometer and got some pretty crazy numbers, so I switched back to my trusty hydrometer. I’d heard all the calculations weren’t too accurate. Well… are they? Let’s find out! Refractometer vs hydrometer, the test. There’s differences in use, to be sure, but… which is better? More accurate? Easier? Quicker?
