Large Format wine bottles – why they are so fun and so great!

Magnum (1.5 liter), Jeroboam aka Double Magnum (3-liter), Salmanazar (9-liter) are all considered “large format” wine bottles. They simply vary in physical size and the volume of wine they contain. There are plenty of reasons to have a few of them in your Wine Cellar.
A friend of mine and I actually went on a “Magnum Mission” trip to Washington Wine Country visiting small lot (small production) wineries. He came back with 40-50 various large format bottles!
