Speaking of Tempranillo, you might know the grape more coming from Rioja. The regions are relatively close to one another in North-Central Spain. However the major differences you’ll taste is that Ribera del Duero tends to have a riper, darker fruit flavor with blackberry and even black currant notes.

This is a great wine for enthusiasts of Cabernet Sauvignon and presents an amazing alternative.
